Roscoe Antique Mall
Roscoe Antique Mall in an effort to provide the services to you, our customer, is offering as special service. If you have that elusive item that you are unable to identify or just plain want to know more about, our dealers and staff will work with you. With over a hundred dealers we will put your items(s) in our Research & Identification Project in a effort to eliminate the questions you might have.
Requirements for this program are simple:
· All items must be photographed and sent to the Roscoe Antique Mall in the form of an Internet transmitted photo or a hardcopy photo mailed to the mall.
· Items must be photographed in as many positions as possible, from the top, bottom, sides and any other angles that might enable us to identify the item. We DO NOT want the actual item in our hands as we cannot provide the space and security for the item.
· Please, in the case of real photographs, have a duplicate at home as prints will not be returned to the customer.
· Please include as much information as possible on the item, size, markings, condition, history you know, what you think or may have heard it might be, any family provenance, what you may have been told about the item by someone else, etc. The more information we have, that faster we can respond to you.
· You are limited to having no more than three (3) items under submission in our project at any one time. Once an item is identified another can be added.
Rules and Regulations:
· Please understand that some items can be quickly identified while others may take a little longer and some, unfortunately, may not be identified at all. We wish we knew everything there is to know about antiques but that just cannot happen.
· Your name, address and other personal information will be held in the strictest of confidence and will not be traded or sold to others. You will be given a code number and all references and status requests must be made through that code number.
· We will, unfortunately due to governmental regulations concerning appraisals, not be able to give you a price on the item. We will, however, be able to supply you with information that, hopefully, you will be able to obtain price estimates from source books, the library or the Internet.
· All information is subject to error and The Roscoe Antique Mall cannot and will not be held responsible for information that may not be correct. We are sorry, we might make mistakes and we cannot know everything. Our hope is we can help you on the right track.
· We reserve the right to rescind this program at any time and all photographs and correspondence become the property of The Roscoe Antique Mall of South Beloit.
